This car was built with the intention of proving that the MX5 can be a fast car without the addition of boost but also it has now become the ideal hill climb and sprint car due to its low engine capacity (keeping it in a low class), weight and incredible power output.

The car has been garaged for the winter now. It's next planned outing is to visit the Nurburgring in April. Work has begun removing the power steering which should gain back another few kilos.

The oil pump and head gasket will also be getting upgraded over the winter. The plan is to try and make reliable use of the 9000rpm available.

Next year should also see this beast competing in the FDMC autosolo events.
